Nobutaka Tada, managing director of the Japan-based stable that campaigns grade II stakes winner Casino Drive, announced June 24 that stable owner Hidetoshi Yamamoto has donated $30,000 to the Belmont Child Care Association’s Anna House.

After visiting Anna House, Yamamoto was so impressed by the early childhood education program and what the BCCA was doing for the children of the backstretch workers that he decided to make a contribution to the organization.

Tada said Yamamoto “believes anyone can do anything for anybody and hopes others in the industry will follow his example and also donate to Anna House. This gives us the meaning of our journey to New York.”

The Belmont Child Care Association is a not-for-profit-corporation established in December 1998 to create an on-site child care center, Anna House, at Belmont Park for the working families of New York Racing Association tracks.
