Grade II-placed Werblin came through with his first winner when his daughter Whisper by Me won July 4 at Philadelphia Park in her initial start. Campaigned by Fiddlestix, she won at 4 ½ furlongs by five lengths in :54.35.

Whisper by Me was bred in Pennsylvania by Aron Yagoda, Jim Gladwell, and Rick Leppala.  She is the second winner from the Quiet American mare Polish Words.

Werblin (Unbridled's Song—Roll Over Baby, by Rollin On Over) stands for $5,000 at Randy Hartley and Dean De Renzo’s Hartley/De Renzo Thoroughbreds near Ocala, Fla.
